Larne is Reopening: Places to visit this weekend

It’s great to see a buzz around the town again with the restrictions lifting today allowing businesses to reopen after many months with their doors closed. 

As a Larne based business and with the hospitality sector finally being able to open their outdoor areas, we have put together a quick guide with some of the places to visit over the weekend. So let’s get out and support them over this bank holiday weekend. 

RUBYS BAR LARNE

Rubys have recently updated dated their outdoor beer garden area along with a new Retractable Roof over it. They currently have a special outdoor menu available.

OLDERFLEET BAR & LOUNGE 

The Olderfleet Bar and Lounge isn’t what it used to they have now expanded with a new restaurant and have added Pol Shields as head chef.

CURRAN COURT HOTEL – KATY JANES 

Curran Court Hotel is another location that has expanded and has refreshed its look. They now have a lovely new outdoor area called Katy Janes serving Beer and food.

BILLY ANDYS

As they have said on the Facebook page ‘We have done our best with the short notice to make our patio as warm and comfortable as possible, let’s hope the Northern Ireland weather stays in our favour’

MATTIES MEETING HOUSE 

Matties are a traditional country pub with great value home-cooked meals. They also have an outdoor area open this week, they’ve asked everyone to make a booking.

CREED COFFEE

Creed coffee based in the Laharna retail park said on their Facebook page “We’re so excited to welcome you all back for your coffee fix”

THE DAIRY

The Dairy which is located in Gleno Village have also revamped outdoor space and are looking forward to welcoming everyone back.

THE PROM CAFE

The Prom Cafe will be serving food and drinks from our reduced menu 10am-4pm via takeaway and outdoor dining on our extended, promenade seating.
